Alright. Due to the problems i have with the host, will post pictures only and come back next week to edit the story. Darn photobucket! From now on, it’s Flickr!
And so, Day 2 came and we had our breakfast at the hotel. I thought their breakfast is not going to be okay, but it turns out to be alright after all. The pancake and scramble egg is quite nice. =D

After our breakfast, we proceed to start our journey to the city! Below picture is the main road (i already started to miss the place.)
to some of you: No, not the Hong Kong guys okay.

Actually, after the breakfast at the hotel we were heading to another restaurant to have the Dim Sum. So as we walk i was looking around, taking pictures of old buildings, the shops, just anything. And after about 15 mins of walking we reach the so called old restaurant that only the locals will go. The restaurant is 4 stories high. The 1st floor is the entrance, 2nd and 3rd floor is the restaurant, and the 4th floor i guess it’s their store room.
Once we sat down, i look around me and wala! All old people, reading newspaper, enjoying the hot Chinese tea, eating their favorite dim sum and chatting away with old friends.

So here is what we ordered! =D

1) Thousand-Layered cake (”chin chang gou”)
2) Cheong Fun (surprisingly, our “hong kong chee cheong fun” is nicer! weird.)
3) Braised Duck Leg with Yam and Fu Chuk (don’t understand why they love yam so much)
4) Fu Chuk (quite oily, the taste is alright)
5) Wu Gok (inside is yam with pork)
6) Siew Mai (nice!)
7) Chi Mai (still think ours taste better)
Char Siew Pau (uuu… nice!)
9) Ha Gau (love this!)

After the meal i took a picture of their kitchen.

Oh, you know those Hong Kong show (be it movie or sitcoms), when they go to restaurants to eat dim sum there will be people pushing the trolley and said “ha gau! siew mai! ha gau! siew mai!”. Yeah, it’s not fake.
After the meal we walk more and one of the things that we were not used to is seeing Chinese working in construction site, or the Chinese DBKL. We walk a few blocks then YeeLing saw this place that sell double layer milk. Apparently it’s quite famous so we went in and eat (again, notice in a short time we had 3 meals?) I don’t fancy milk, so at first i didn’t want to try. After they convince me, i tried the cold one. And ya, i still don’t like milk.

Oh, before we walk into the shop we saw some policeman so one of us (not me okay) decided to take a picture with them. The HK policeman is fit, unlike ours. (you know what i mean?)
Then we proceed to buy the Octopus card. It’s like our TouchN’Go card but you can use it in train, bus, 7-eleven and any place that have the service. I couldn’t remember which is the first place we go but ya, their MTR station is clean and most importantly, the train came ON TIME.

Their MTR station reminds me of Singapore. There’s this one part where we must take the tunnel in order to get to the other side of the road. One of the things i like about HK is, there are directions EVERYWHERE! For example, (the below picture)

We also met another of YeeLing’s friend, Raymond. He brought us to their local cafe to have lunch. So here is what we ordered.

After lunch, he brought us around and explaining to us the history behind some of the buildings. He’s like our tour guide! He brought us to look at some of the famous buildings, banks. I like the architecture there, each building have its own special design. He also brought us to come of the shopping complex, just to show us around. Then i saw the below ad,

Very nice right!

One of the random shot i took while we were taking the ferry. Another special thing about HK will be the decorations. Flowers are everywhere! It’s not just half-dead flowers but it’s really pretty and suddenly i felt like i’m looking at flowers in Cameron Highlands.

We took this transportation! Raymond taught us how to take this bus to another station to take the trem to The Peak (one of of destination we will go). This transportation is cheap! HK$2 only i think.

Then, taxis are everywhere! Unlike here, sometimes we have to wait for ages for 1 taxi.

Then as we discover the city, i saw this road name.

Then, we went toilet in one of the shopping complex. In the cubicle, next to me i saw this!

It’s toilet seat cleaner!!! 0_0
We were walking so much until i do not know where i was going. I was just following, taking pictures, amazed at some of the things i see, wow-ing at really nice architecture and so on. Then we reach at this places called the Golden something-something. If you have watch the New Police Story, there’s an ending part where by Jackie Chan and Daniel Wu was on top of a building with Nicholas Tse dangling half way out of the building. Ya, there la

Prosecuted… hmm…

Then we saw people filming! =D

The guy is not famous but he acted in quite a number of show. The girls are popular but i do not know the name. Just know the face only. Esther told me yesterday, when we saw them they are actually filming a show and Moses Chan is suppose to be there! No, he was there just that we did not see him only. What la!

Stay Tune.
